A Soldier’s Family Visa Applications

I want everyone to know that your help, support, and contributions just paid for a soldier’s visa applications to bring his wife and son to the United States to start the process for legal citizenship. Motorcycle Raffle Raised About $16,000

We had our motorcycle raffle at Fast Eddie’s in Centreville, Virginia. I would like to thank everyone who came out and contributed. The Motorcycle was one by a former Vietnam Veteran who lives in Madison County south of Culpeper.

1976 Harley-Davidson won by J.W. Griffith of Madison County.

 

We sold 684 Raffle tickets and raised just under $16,000. In the last 3 weeks we have given financial aid to 3 warriors in the Warrior Transition Battalion at Fort Belvoir:

  • $700 for a Soldier in need of emergency funds for food and utilities,
  • $400 for a new transfer for Housing,
  • $290 for a US Homeland Security Application to get a child to the United States.

On behalf of the soldiers in the Warrior Transition Battalion at Fort Belvoir we would like to thank everyone for their continued support.

U.S. Military Vets MC Donation

I would like to thank the Northern Virgina Chapter of the U.S. Military Vets MC for their Fund Raising Poker Run they had for us on May 11, 2013. They raised $1400.00 and all proceeds were given to us.

Winner of a 1976 Harley-Davidson

We held our raffle for the 1976 Harley-Davidson Saturday May 11th at Fast Eddie’s in Centreville, Virginia. I would like to thank all those folks that came out and helped us raise money for the soldiers of the Warrior Transition Battalion at Ft. Belvoir.

1976 Harley-Davidson won by J.W. Griffith of Madison County.

The winner of the motorcycle was J.W. Griffith of Madison County. He bought his ticket at Classic Twins from Neal Brody. Neal restored the Harley for us and did a great job. the following is a direct quote from J.W. when we called him yesterday “Holy shit I can’t believe it..I have never won anything!

First Event for Our Soldiers

We had our first event for the soldiers at Fort Belvoir on Saturday November 15, 2011 at Bull run Regional Park in Centreville, Virginia. Frank Cheatham and Hogs on the Run Cooked a Pig and Ricky Pell of Fairfax Crab House provided 3 bushels of Crabs for the Soldiers and there families. Food was also provided by Hooters of Manassas, Glory Days of Centreville, Red Rocks Cafe in Centreville and Fast Eddies of Centreville.

We had a great day and had approximately 45 soldiers and family members. We want to Thank everyone who helped put this day together and thank you fro your continued support in our efforts to help the morale of these soldiers.

Our next scheduled event is December 17, 20111 at Fort Belvoir to bring our Christmas gifts to the soldiers and their families. We are also thinking about another Pig Roast sometime early in November.
